Our careers programme is an integral part of our curriculum and has a real impact on our pupils’ long-term outcomes.  We measure and assess this impact via student survey, monitoring event attendance and by regularly compiling event specific feedback from pupils, parents, employers, teachers and further education providers.  We have good communication links with our local further education and training providers and keep in touch regarding pupil outcomes, providing support where we can.

Useful Information

Celebrations for National Careers Week have started early at The Snaith School!

This week, our pupils have been exploring what a career is, discovering different vocational pathways, and seeing how the subjects they study in school help build skills for the world of work.
The celebrations continue next week, with students learning how to create an effective CV, investigating a variety of career sectors, and understanding the difference between hard and soft skills. National Careers Week is a great opportunity for students to start thinking about their futures and the skills they need to succeed.
