Transport

As always our main concern is for the safety of our Pupils.  Quite a lot of our Pupils travel to school by bus, but you may wish your child to cycle, walk or be brought to school by car.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council provide the home to school transport and their policy sets when a child is eligible for transport.  If you live 3 miles or more from school, or if the journey from your home to school is deemed by the Local Authorities to be a hazardous route your child will be issued with a free bus pass.  Those children who live outside our traditional catchment area can buy a daily ticket, a weekly ticket which is cheaper than the daily rate or a four week ticket.

Please note that although we take the safety of our Pupils very seriously any complaints about buses, bus behaviour or service provider should be made directly to the Local Authority Home to School Co-ordinator via East Riding of Yorkshire Council website www.buswise.co.uk or by telephone on 08456 445949  As a school we have no jurisdiction in this area.
